Recycled metal sculpture: a second life
Recycled Metal Sculpture: An Art Form in Its Own Right
Recycled metal sculpture is much more than a decorating trend. It is a demanding artistic discipline that transforms industrial material into a work of art — preserving its history and soul.
What materials are used for recycled metal sculptures?
At Recyclhome, sculptures are born from salvaged mechanical parts: ball bearings, gears, nuts, bolts, motorcycle chains, DIY tools, car parts. Each material is chosen for its shape, texture, and expressive potential. Metal remains his preferred material for sculpture, but Alexandre also works with wood and plexiglass on certain creations, depending on inspiration and the project.
The worlds of metal sculpture at Recyclhome
The Recyclhome collection covers several universes:
— Animals: condors, elephants, cats, toucans, gorillas sculpted from mechanical parts
— Pop culture: droids, legendary dragons, video game and cartoon heroes made from recycled metal
— Mechanical: steampunk cars, electric guitars, miniature go-karts
— Objects and symbols: busts, chess sets, musical instruments
Why choose a recycled metal sculpture?
A recycled metal sculpture is a unique work. It cannot be reproduced identically — salvaged materials are by definition unique. It is an art object that tells two stories: that of its previous life as a mechanical part, and that of its rebirth as a sculpture.
Each Recyclhome sculpture comes with its numbered certificate of authenticity — tangible proof of its uniqueness.
